How the Palworld 1.0 Breeding Calculator Works

Every Pal has a hidden stat called CombiRank. When you pick two parents, the game averages their CombiRank values and maps the result to the closest breedable Pal, with specific Unique, same-species, and gender-dependent exceptions. PalGenetics uses the pinned Palworld 1.0 breeding data and client-safe calculation model so results appear instantly while complete Pal pages remain server-rendered.

Palworld 1.0 Breeding Combos: Every Pair Explained

With 287 indexed Pals and 44,851 upstream breeding records, the breeding system is deeper than a single result card. The calculator gives the immediate answer, while each Pal breeding page keeps the complete parent list, reverse-breeding results, stats, and evidence layer visible in server-rendered HTML.

CombiRank Chart: Understanding the Hidden Stat

CombiRank is the hidden number behind most breeding decisions. Our full CombiRank chart lists every Pal by rank so you can compare likely breeding power and understand why nearby ranks often behave like stepping stones.

Best Breeding Combos in Palworld 1.0

Some Pals are useful bridge parents because they appear in many direct or short breeding routes to popular targets. See our best breeding combos page for ranked planning notes. Use those rankings as transparent decision help, not as a universal claim that every listed pair is fastest or easiest for every player.

Palworld 1.0 Update: What Changed for Breeding

The Palworld 1.0 release expanded the upstream breeding data to 44,851 rows. PalGenetics regenerated the site data from the pinned 1.0 source and checks the generated results with automated regression tests. See the Palworld 1.0 update page for version context.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many breeding combos are in Palworld 1.0?

The current Palworld 1.0 breeding source contains 44,851 parent-child rows across 287 indexed Pals. 262 targets have at least one direct pair that does not require already owning the target; the remaining targets expose propagation-only routes.

Can I breed catch-restricted or Legendary Pals?

Breeding availability depends on the target's recorded parent pairs, not its Legendary label alone. Some restricted Pals, such as Jetragon, must be acquired first and can then be propagated with a same-species pair. Gumoss has ordinary mixed-parent routes in the current data.

What is a recommended direct pair for Anubis?

Start with the top listed direct pair on the Anubis breeding page, then use the full parent list for alternatives. PalGenetics does not label a pair fastest, cheapest, or easiest to catch unless the dataset supports that ranking.

Does passive skill inheritance use a different formula?

Yes. Passive skills are inherited independently from the CombiRank breeding formula. The child draws from the parents' combined unique passive pool with community-derived weights, plus a chance for a random new passive.

How accurate is this calculator vs the actual game?

Our Palworld 1.0 breeding data is generated from a pinned tylercamp/palcalc breeding table and checked with automated client/server regression tests plus pinned-upstream matching. Those checks are not a claim that every result was personally tested in game; reproducible reports, source conflicts, version changes, and special rules can trigger case-specific review.

Do I need all 287 Pal pages to rank on Google?

No, but the individual Pal pages are useful because each one has a distinct breeding task: whether the Pal can be bred, which parent pairs produce it, what it breeds into as a parent, and the evidence behind those results. The pages are kept only while they provide unique user value and server-rendered data.
